The agreement between you and Fami.

Who provides Fami

Fami is a family-organiser service operated from Singapore. You can reach a person at support@joinfami.com for support, questions or complaints, and at privacy@joinfami.com for anything about your personal information.

What Fami does

You send Fami the things that carry family dates and details: a message, photo, PDF, screenshot or voice note. Fami reads the dates, tasks and details out of what you send, shows you what it understood, and saves calendar events, reminders and tasks once you confirm them. It can also send you a daily or weekly family brief, and help you plan a weekend.

Fami is a bounded service for family logistics. It is not a general-purpose chat service, a search engine, or a source of medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Fami is not an emergency service and must not be relied on for anything safety-critical.

Who can use Fami

You must be an adult and able to enter into this agreement. Fami is built for parents and caregivers holding a household together. If you add information about a child or another member of your household, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that you share only what is needed for the family-life purpose you have chosen.

Using Fami properly

Do not use Fami to break the law, to send unlawful, abusive or infringing content, to impersonate another person, or to collect information about someone without the right to do so. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service. Fami may limit or end access where these terms are breached.

Beta service and pricing

Fami is in paid beta at a promotional price of SGD 8.88 per month. You can stop at any time, and if you are not happy with Fami you can ask for a full refund. The promotional price applies for as long as your beta subscription runs without interruption; any change to pricing will be told to you before it takes effect.

Fami is provided as is during the beta. Features may change, pause or be withdrawn, and there is no guaranteed availability, response time or accuracy. Fami shows you what it understood before saving anything, and you remain responsible for checking that a confirmed date, time or detail is correct.

Services Fami works with

Fami runs inside WhatsApp and Telegram, and can connect to Google Calendar and Google Tasks if you choose to connect them. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, not these. Fami is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, WhatsApp, Telegram or Google. Those names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Your content stays yours

What you send Fami remains yours. Fami does not use your family’s messages, files, voice notes, calendar information or account details to train Fami or third-party general-purpose models. How personal information is handled is set out in the Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.

Support and complaints

Email support@joinfami.com and a person will reply, normally within two business days. Tell us what happened and what you expected instead. You can also ask Fami in chat to pass a problem on by saying “feedback” or “issue”, but email reaches a human directly.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using Fami at any time, and you can ask Fami to delete your data by messaging Fami or emailing privacy@joinfami.com. Fami may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where it is required by law, or where the service itself stops operating.

Liability

Fami is provided during the beta without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Fami is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for a missed event, appointment or deadline. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the service develops. The current version and its date always appear on this page, and material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service channel where required.
